The U13 girls had a great win over TK Cougars in Killarney.
The girls took the lead early on and kept a strong lead throughout.
Evie O’Sullivan was once again lead scorer with 14pts.
Another exhibition by the girls with Sarah Chute and Lily Bowler strong under the boards and Emily Corridon with excellent interceptions.

Lee Strand Magic 62-16 TK Vixens
In an enjoyable u13 girls league basketball match, a depleted Lee Strand Magic team emerged victorious over the TK Vixens.
Despite missing a number of key players, the Magic continued their winning ways, dominating the game from the start.
The game was off to a great start for the Magic, who scored consistently in every quarter.
Every player on the team was on the scoresheet, led by the outstanding performances of Evie O’Sullivan with 16pts and Lauren Lawlor on 12.
The Magic’s impressive offensive performance was matched by their outstanding rebounding skills, with Niamh Lynch leading the charge.
Lynch’s stellar rebounding allowed the Magic to maintain possession and create opportunities for their offensive players.
In the end, the Lee Strand Magic emerged victorious over the TK Vixens.
It was an excellent display of skill and determination from the Magic players, who can be proud of the performance and their continued success in the league.

TK Bobcats 18-34 Lee Strand Magic
The U13 girls started a busy week of games vs TK Bobcats.
In a sporting game Bobcats fought hard but the Magic girls gave a great display to win 34-18.
Niamh Lynch and Lily Mae Bowler were strong under the boards rebounding while Evie O’Sullivan, Sarah Chute and Taylor Kate Leen led with the scores.
02/02/23 League
Lee Strand Magic 38-17 St. Anne’s
The u13s continued their unbeaten run in a sporting contest in the CBS, Magic started strongly leading 12-4 at the end of the first thanks to scores from Ava, Sadhbh, Lily and Evie.
Quarter two and three were more evenly matched with St Anne's scoring well.
The Magic girls were unlucky at the ring a few times.
In quarter four team Magic put on a great display in both offence and defence.
Excellent passing lead to some lovely scores particularly by Evie, which helped them pull away.
Final score 38 - 17
As a team who don't train together they blend very well, a testament to their enthusiasm and effort.

U13 girls had an impressive win over a valiant Bobcats team.
Each girl gave a valuable contribution and huge improvements are a pleasure to see.

They overcame a strong St. Anne’s team with great team work, defensive play and basketball skills on display.

Lee Strand Magic 35-9 St. Brendan's
The U13 girls won against a gallant St. Brendan's side. Both teams took a while to get into the game with a low score in Q1.
Great movement and passing in Q2 saw Magic taking an 11 point lead at half time.
St. Brendan's continue to apply pressure but the girls got stronger with each quarter with excellent defensive displays throughout.
