Zoom sessions for coaches resume this Wednesday with an exciting line up of guest speakers for the coming weeks.

14th April @7.30pm - John Dowling

Kicking off the return of the sessions will be with Tralee Warriors head coach, John Dowling, focussing on hard to guard skill acquisition, offence actions and spacing.

20th April @7.30pm - Francis O’Sullivan

We welcome the first of our guest speakers for the month of April, Francis O’Sullivan.

Francis is a very experienced Level 3 coach and a former Head Coach of national teams (🇮🇪 U20 Women and 🇮🇪 U18 Men). He is also a Sport Ireland Coach Developer. Many of our coaches will be familiar with Francis from when he facilitated an Intro coaching course which we hosted in Mounthawk few years ago.

In the session, Francis will cover small sided games and the games approach to basketball.

27th April @tbc - Adrian Fulton

Our second guest speaker for the month of April is Adrian Fulton.

Adrian is head coach of St. Malachy’s College Belfast and the Superleague side, Belfast Star. He is also assistant coach of the 🇮🇪 Ireland Senior Men’s team.

Adrian will be covering the topics of developing guards and perimeter players.

We are excited to have Francis and Adrian joining our coaches for their zoom sessions as we look forward to continuing our preparations for the return of basketball.
