Our Senior Men have a new coach this season - Garvey’s Tralee Warrior Daniel Jokubaitis.

They had a very competitive opening game of the season away to St. Mary’s. The Castleisland side ran out winners in the end (66v59).
Imperials went on to win the the next three games - home vs KCYMS 58V55, away vs St. Brendan’s 61-66, and home vs St. Paul’s 79-70.
Our Senior Men may be the oldest male members in the club but they can still get stuck in and have fun at our Christmas Basketball Marathon.
The Senior Men took part in the 50th Annual St. Mary’s Christmas Blitz. They beat KCYMS by 7 and lost out to St. Mary’s by a single basket in the qualifiers but they had done enough to make it through to the final.
The team had a slow start in the final vs KCYMS but they did well to get back in contention in the second half. However, it was not their day and they were eventual runners up.
They have a busy schedule in the new year with important cup and league games coming up as well as members of the team playing on school, college and U20 Warriors teams.
