Tralee Magic Basketball Club Summer Camp 2025
As we gear up for another unforgettable week of basketball, we’re thrilled to introduce the powerhouse coaching team bringing all the energy, skills, and fun to this year’s Tralee Magic Summer Camp!
Leading the charge is none other than Dara “Skinny” O’Hanlon, former player with Garvey’s Tralee Warriors and long-time coaching figure within Tralee Magic. Dara is known for his infectious energy, sharp basketball IQ, and genuine commitment to helping young players grow their skills and confidence. Whether it’s first-timers or rising stars, “Skinny” has a knack for bringing out the best in everyone who steps on the court.
Joining him is Daniel “Jacko” Jokubaitis, a key player for Tralee Warriors BC and a fan favourite for good reason. With lightning-fast moves, lockdown defense, and a scoring touch that’s earned him multiple Basketball Ireland Player of the Month awards, Jacko brings elite-level insight to every drill and scrimmage. His passion for the game is contagious, and campers are in for a treat learning from one of the most exciting players in the league.
We’re also delighted to welcome back Daire Kennelly, another talented athlete with a serious resume. Daire plays for both Garvey’s Tralee Warriors and Tralee Magic, and has proudly represented Ireland at the U15/U17 Development Squad level and in the U16/U18 European Championships. As co-captain of the Warriors squad that clinched the first-ever Basketball Ireland Development League title, Daire brings leadership and a deep understanding of high-performance basketball.
This incredible trio is here to make sure your young baller has a week packed with learning, teamwork, and good vibes. Whether your child is just picking up the sport or chasing big basketball dreams, they’ll be in safe (and very skilled) hands.
