Match Report: U18s vs Rathmore County League Division 1

On Wednesday night, our U18s faced the challenge of an undefeated Rathmore side in a Division 1 county league showdown. Despite a few players missing, we came out strong, showing early resilience and hustle. Thanks to some sharp shooting from Oisin and Johnny, we were right in the mix, trailing by just 17-19 at the end of the first quarter.
The second quarter saw us hit a few bumps, but we stayed in the race with Conor Mc and Ruairi stepping up, keeping us close at halftime with a 32-40 scoreline.
As the third quarter wore on, our legs got a bit heavy, and Rathmore seized their chance, extending their lead to 50-68. Even with Conor G pulling down rebounds like a machine, the gap was just too much to bridge in the final quarter. Rathmore proved why they're undefeated, taking the game 59-87.
