✨️New Year Wishes ✨️
✨️From Magic Chairman ✨️
✨️John Dowling.✨️
I hope all our Tralee Magic community are enjoying the festive season.
We are halfway through the season, and it’s been a great few months for many of the teams - both boys and girls across the ages. The spirit within all our teams is heart warming!. Well done to the players, managers, and coaches at all levels.
The Magic ladies' team for the Basketball Ireland Development League has been a huge step forward and a massive morale boost for the club. The U18 boys of the club continue to produce international standard players who have left to go stateside, where they are all doing well! They are an inspiration and great role models for our younger members.
The Shooting Stars Academ is also doing very well with strong numbers. They are voting with their feet and returning every Thursday and Friday for fun skills sessions. Feedback from players and parents is great!
Your support for our ladies' U18 team who play in cork on the 6th January would be greatly appreciated by the squad at this important game - the semi-final of the national cup! - same day as the Tralee Warriors take on Ballincollig - so why not make it a full day of fantastic basketball!
The Shooting Stars Academy is also doing very well with strong numbers. They are voting with their feet and returning every Thursday and Friday for fun skills sessions with their @garveystraleewarriors coaches.
We would like to thank all those who volunteer, play, manage, and support the club in any way. You know who you all are - you are the reason for the club’s success.
As the club grows and continues to achieve successes, we need more help to keep it going. So, anyone is looking for a new year's resolution, getting more involved in helping out your childs team is a great place to start 😉.
While we celebrate our successes, club members who have passed this year have not been forgotten. We are also thinking of members who are having their first Christmas without loved ones and family members. We will do what we can to support you
Lastly, here's to a very prosperous New Year to all and continued success both on and off the court!
