Our Annual Christmas Basketball Marathon takes place Saturday 15th December in Mounthawk. This all-day event raises much needed funds for the club and the Kerry Hospice Foundation.

The event will be bookended by our senior teams with club members of all ages involved throughout the day with boys and girls teams coming together for basketball fun and games. We also welcome children from Scoil Eoin Balloonagh and St. Brendan’s Blennerville who took part in our Jr. NBA programme.

As well as the basketball there will be a bake sale 10am-4pm. Join us on the day for a tea/coffee and purchase some sweet treats. Are your baking skills better than your basketball skills??? Then we need you!!! Support this event by doing some baking 🧁🥧🍩🍪 The yummy treats can be dropped off the night before the event (Friday 14th Dec 8-9.30pm) or bring them along on the day.

Veronica will be selling Lucky Bags on the day with 100% of the proceeds going to the Kerry Hospice Foundation. These are great stocking fillers or even a present to yourself that you can open Christmas morning for an extra surprise. They are available for boys, girls, teens, ladies and gents and range in price (€3-€10). Text Veronice now (0861706572) to pre-order your Lucky Bag to avoid disappointment.

Sponsorship cards can be returned to your team manager or brought along on the day. A completed card (€30) will be put in a draw for the line seller to win a prize. Prizes up for grabs include club gear, Christmas treats and the chance to be the Garvey’s Tralee Warriors mascot for a home game.

It promises to be a great day with a wonderful festive atmosphere. We are encouraging everyone to wear your Santa hats. Take your picture at our much loved #Elfie Station. There may even be some special guests joining us on the day.

As well as raising funds for a great cause this day is also a celebration of our club - from our youngest to oldest members, boys and girls, team managers, coaches, volunteers, parents and sponsors. Without every single one of these the club would not be able to continue to grow and progress.
