Our girls’ teams are taking shape for the season ahead, with U12, U14, U16 and U18 team selection sessions taking place in Mounthawk from 20 August.

There is a strong pathway for girls through Magic, from those first underage seasons right through to our older teams, and these sessions are where the next chapter of that starts. We want to see our returning players back together, but we would also love to see some new faces...so if your feiends want to join, they are more than welcome! They do not need to have played for Magic before to come along.

Players are expected to attend all selection sessions for their age group. If there are exceptional circumstances and a player cannot attend, please let the club know in advance using the contact number below.

The sessions will run across the final two weeks of August, with teams finalised once they are complete.

Some of our girls have grown up in this club, moving through the age groups together, while others have arrived along the way and quickly found their place. That mix is part of what makes our girls’ programme what it is — teammates pushing each other, coaches investing time in their development, and plenty of basketball along the way.
