Our U10 Boys finished the Charles O’Sullivan Tournament in brilliant style this weekend, winning the Plate Final against St Brendan’s in Moyderwell Gym 💙

It was a really good day’s basketball for the boys. They came up against a strong Brendan’s White side and were right in the game before Brendan’s pulled away in the final minute. They kept their heads up, and where unlucky to lose out to the Bobcats by a single basket in a great game, and then followed it up with wins over Limerick Celtics and Blue Demons to book their place in the Plate Final.

In the final, the boys played with terrific energy, teamwork and spirit, and it was lovely to see them finish the day with a win. At this age, days like this are about learning, enjoying the game and growing together, and these boys did all of that.

A special moment too for the team, who were captained on the day by Mattie Quille, who turned 9 on the very same day 💙

Well done to all of the boys on a super tournament, and thank you to St Brendan’s for a very well organised event. A special mention too to Charles O’Sullivan, always  a gentleman on and off the court 💙
