Tralee Magic’s U14 Boys Div 3 squad gave another huge effort this week, edging a tight battle with Kenmare Kestrels that finished 26–30 in favour of the visitors.
From the opening tip the boys showed real composure on the ball – strong passing, clever cuts and some lovely finishes at the rim. Defensively they worked their socks off, fighting for every rebound and refusing to give Kenmare anything easy.
The scoreboard might show a four–point loss, but it doesn’t tell the whole story. The lads kept believing, kept defending and kept attacking right to the final buzzer. They were unlucky to come out on the wrong side of the result after such a strong, hard-fought performance.
What really stands out is how the work in training is starting to shine through. The boys are turning up, and putting in the reps – and you can see it in their spacing, decision-making and confidence on court. The wins will come; for now, the signs of progress are clear and they should be proud of how they represented Tralee Magic. 💙
