Tralee Magic 34 – St. Paul’s 20

The U16 Girls of Tralee Magic produced a composed and united display at Mounthawk Gym last night, earning a deserved 34–20 victory over St. Paul’s. It was a performance built on teamwork, defensive effort, and smart ball movement from start to finish.

Magic settled quickly, with Emily and Ciara finding their range early and setting the tone on offence. Aisling and Ali linked up superbly around the top of the key, while Aoibhinn fought hard inside, winning key rebounds and second-chance opportunities.

In the second quarter, Magic’s defensive shape really began to tell. Ruby and Meabh brought great energy off the bench, helping to keep up the intensity, while Olivia and Layla contributed solid minutes — showing good awareness and supporting their teammates on both ends of the floor.

The final stretch saw the whole team working as one. Jessie and Nicola showed fine composure in possession, Clodagh was sharp defensively, and Yvie’s hustle and determination helped Magic close the game out strongly.

From tip-off to the final whistle, this was a real team win — full of spirit, communication, and collective effort 💙

Well done to both teams for an enjoyable and sporting game.
