Tralee Magic Basketball Club is calling on all members, parents, and supporters to attend our Annual General Meeting on Tuesday, 27th May at 8pm in Mounthawk.
This is a crucial year for the club, with many experienced committee members stepping down after years of incredible service. We’re so grateful for the work they’ve done—but now, we need new people to step up and help guide the future of our club.
A large number of essential roles are vacant, and for the club to continue running successfully, they must be filled. It’s easy to assume that “someone else will do it”—but if everyone assumes that, no one does. If your child benefits from Tralee Magic, this is your opportunity to play a part in keeping the club strong, active, and growing.
We are currently seeking nominations for the following roles:
- Chairperson (vacant – Executive Committee)
- Vice Chair (Boys) (vacant – Executive Committee)
- Vice Chair (Girls) (vacant – Executive Committee)
- Secretary (vacant – Executive Committee)
- Public Relations Officer (PRO) (vacant – Executive Committee)
- Treasurer (Executive Committee)
- Child Protection Officer (Executive Committee)
- Team Manager Representative (vacant – Executive Committee)
- Welfare Officer (Executive Committee)
No experience is necessary—just a bit of time, a positive attitude, and a willingness to help. You’ll be part of a great team, gain new skills, and support your child’s sporting development in a real and rewarding way.
