What a day of basketball for our U10 girls at the Marie O’Sullivan Tournament in Moyderwell! The team gave it everything they had, showing brilliant teamwork, determination, and a real love for the game.

After a busy day of exciting group games, the girls earned their place in the Plate semi-final, where they played their hearts out in a nail-biting match that went all the way to extra time. The game came down to the narrowest of margins — just one single point, scored from the free throw line. It was a tough way to finish, but the girls should be incredibly proud of how they played.

The improvement across the team was clear to see — great passing, strong defence, and loads of confidence with the ball. But even more impressive was the way they supported one another, stayed positive, and showed great sportsmanship all day long.

A massive thank you to Erika, Yvonne, Emily, and Eoin for coaching and guiding the girls throughout the tournament — your support and encouragement mean so much. And of course, thank you to all the families and fans on the sidelines who cheered them on every step of the way!
