Our U10 boys had a fantastic day of basketball at the Charles O’Sullivan Tournament in Moyderwell this weekend. A huge thank you to St. Brendan’s for hosting such a well-organised and fun event — the gym was buzzing with energy from the first tip-off to the final whistle!
All three of our Tralee Magic teams gave it their all and represented the club with pride.
Magic 1 and Magic 3 both made it to the Plate semi-finals, showing great determination, teamwork, and resilience throughout the day. They played with heart, supported each other on and off the court, and kept battling right to the end.
Magic 2 put in a strong performance and played some fantastic basketball. They were just a bit unlucky in the Cup quarter-final, but their effort, skills, and team play really stood out.
It’s been brilliant to see how much the boys have improved since the start of the season — quicker passes, better defence, and growing confidence every time they step on the court. Most importantly, they played with great spirit, encouraged one another, and had fun doing it!
A big thank you to Erika, Suzanne, and Ryan Leonard for looking after the teams on the day — your help and support are hugely appreciated. And of course, a massive shout-out to all the parents who came along to cheer from the sidelines. Your encouragement makes such a difference!
Well done to all our U10 Magic players — you brought the energy, the effort, and the team spirit. We’re proud of every one of you!
