Tralee Magic was delighted to welcome Basketball Ireland Senior Women's Head Coach, James Weldon, for a special coaching clinic this evening. The session, designed for both our players and coaches, provided valuable insights and practical advice to help sharpen skills over the summer.

James, with his deep understanding of the game and his ability to connect with players, shared plenty of tips on improving technique, decision-making, and overall basketball IQ. His engaging coaching style held everyone’s full attention—the girls were uncharacteristically quiet, a clear sign they were soaking up every word!

Opportunities to learn from experienced coaches like James are invaluable, and we’re grateful for the time and effort he put into the session. His passion for the game and commitment to player development were evident throughout, leaving our players and coaches with plenty to think about and work on in the months ahead.
