Tralee Magic’s U12 Division 2 girls signed off on their 2024/25 season with a fantastic performance, earning a 20-14 victory over a determined Gneeveguilla team in Mounthawk. This was a game filled with energy, teamwork, and plenty of excitement—everything you’d hope for in a season finale!

Both teams came out strong, with Gneeveguilla showing great defensive hustle and making it difficult for Magic to find their usual flow. The visitors battled for every loose ball and worked hard under the boards, keeping the game close throughout.

Magic, however, kept their composure and found ways to break through. Their passing and movement improved as the game went on, leading to some well-worked scores. It wasn’t just the offense that shined—their defensive effort was just as impressive, helping to hold off a late push from Gneeveguilla.

A big thank you to Mary G and Caitríona for guiding the team all season and to Padraig and Noreen for leading Gneeveguilla so well during the match. Thanks also to referees Billy and Jimmy, who kept the game flowing, and to Catherine and Emily at the table for their hard work.

It’s been an incredible season for this young Magic team, and tonight’s game was the perfect way to finish—great effort, great teamwork, and most importantly, great fun! Well done to both teams for a fantastic game!
