The game started at a fast pace, with Magic edging the first quarter 6-9. Both teams played with high intensity, but strong defensive efforts kept scoring low. In the second quarter, Magic found their rhythm, outscoring Rathmore to take a 16-20 lead into halftime.
The third quarter proved to be the turning point as Magic dominated, putting up an impressive 16 points to Rathmore’s 9. The offensive contributions and teamwork helped stretch the lead as they capitalized on fast breaks and second-chance opportunities.
Heading into the final quarter with a 21-36 advantage, the girls didn’t ease up. They continued to play with great teamwork and determination, adding another 8 points while maintaining defensive pressure. Rathmore battled until the end but couldn’t close the gap, with the game finishing 33-42 in favor of Magic.
