The Tralee Magic U16 Girls Division 3 team hit the court in style today, proudly sporting their brand-new gear as they took on Ballybunion Wildcats in an exciting league game. Right from the start, Magic displayed fantastic teamwork, sharp passing, and solid defense, setting the tone for a strong performance.

In the opening quarter, Mia Costello and Clodagh Flaherty led the charge, scoring key early baskets that gave Magic an early advantage. Their energy and movement off the ball created great opportunities, and the entire team followed suit with disciplined play and strong defensive rebounds.

The second and third quarters saw Abbey Karney, Emily Corridon and Niamh Lynch stepping up, working tirelessly in both attack and defense. The team’s passing game was a highlight, with unselfish play creating some beautifully worked scores.

Ballybunion Wildcats put up a tough fight, battling back with some well-taken shots, but Magic’s resilience shone through. Strong defensive pressure and great communication ensured that Magic kept control of the game, finishing with an impressive 46-28 victory.
