Tralee Magic U11 girls made the trip to Killarney for a friendly match against a well-organized Cougars team. The game was played in great spirits, with both teams showing plenty of energy and enthusiasm throughout.
From the start, Magic worked hard to create space and move the ball, with some excellent pivoting helping them maintain possession under pressure. The girls showed great effort in finding their teammates, and with continued focus on their passing, they will become even more effective in moving the ball up the court.
Killarney Cougars provided a strong challenge, defending well and making quick transitions on offense. Their organization and teamwork tested the Magic defense, but the Tralee girls responded with great determination, working hard to contest shots and regain possession.
Overall, it was a fantastic learning experience for both teams, with plenty of positives to take forward. The Magic girls showed great improvement in their movement and awareness, and with continued practice, their passing and decision-making will only get better.
A big thank you to Killarney Cougars for hosting and to all the parents and coaches for their support. Well done to all the players for their effort and teamwork— we're looking forward to the next challenge already!
