We are delighted to share the exciting news that Tralee Magic Basketball Club has been awarded funding from the Kerry Recreation & Sports Partnership’s Sports Club Grant 2024. This support, provided by Kerry County Council and Sport Ireland, will play a significant role in helping us enhance our club resources for players and coaches alike.

Grant Allocation Breakdown:

Strand 1 – Small Equipment (€1,000): This funding will enable us to purchase essential equipment, including bibs, basketballs, space marker cones, ice packs, basketball bags, a coaching whiteboard, gear bags, small ball bags, and first aid kits. These items are vital in ensuring that our players have the best resources to develop their skills and perform safely.

Strand 2 – Education and Training Supports (€800): This portion of the grant is dedicated to coach education. It will cover the costs of a Basketball Ireland Level 1 Coaching Course, enabling us to continue building a strong, knowledgeable coaching team to guide our players.
