The 2024 Tralee Magic All Stars Basketball Awards Night celebrates the achievements of the Tralee Magic basketball community over the past year and recognises the significant contribution of the players, coaches and volunteers.
The annual Tralee Magic All-Stars Awards Night will award and celebrate:
- Our next generation of hoopers from the Shooting Stars Academy
- An All -Star player from each junior team in the club. This is awarded, not necessarily to the most technically gifted player, but to the teammate who exemplifies selfless play and commitment and dedication to his team and sport.
- Division and Cup Champion teams
- All Ireland Club Championship Qualifiers
- County/ Regional representatives for 2023
- International representatives for 2023
- Club person of the year - This award is given to the club member who has strived above and beyond the normal call of duty for the club in a voluntary capacity during the year for the overall benefit of the club and its members. The Club Person of The Year is someone who has made positive and REAL difference to the members and the Club in that time.
- Young club person of the year – This award is given to a junior club member who has also gone above and beyond the normal call of duty for the club in a voluntary capacity during the year for the overall benefit of the club and its members. The Young Club Person of The Year is someone who has made positive and REAL difference to the members and the Club .
- Tralee Magic Hall of Fame inductee - The Tralee Magic Basketball Hall of Fame began in last year to recognise and honour the exceptional performances, achievements and contributions by individuals of the basketball community to the great sport in Tralee.
So we are calling all Tralee Magic members to get together with your basketball community for a great night in celebration of a huge 2023.
